Think of your triggers as ghosts from your experiential and ancestral history. They are ghosts who have not yet found their peace. They want to—that’s why they keep showing up in your life—but they need your help. They need you to get in close, and listen as they share their unresolved past with you. They need you to see them, in just the same way you want to be seen. If you keep ignoring them, they won’t go away. They will just show up more often. And your life will become a kind of ghost-fulfilling prophecy, one where every choice you make will haunt your days. Perhaps its time that we accepted that we are the haunted house that we fear. In each room, a ghost that is ready to be liberated. In the basement, the unconscious that is ready to be revealed. We don’t need to give ourselves candy on Halloween. We just need to give ourselves permission to heal. That’s the sweetest gift of all. - Jeff Brown

Love has feet that walk it through time...
"Twin flames" is one of the most dangerous delusional terms in the spiritual world. It refltects an undgrounded tendency, and often attracts New Cagers with very poor boundaries, who desperately want to believe that unhealthy relationship is soul-sponsored. Maybe it is, but that doesn't mean it is healthy or sustainable. The moment someone sayd they are in a "twin-flame" relationship I suggest that they buy a fire extinguisher and a burn kit. Because thye are going to need them. What we need now are soul connections that are centered, grounded, sustainable, mature. Love has feet that walk it through time. - Jeff Brown, Hearticulations

LOVE IS IN EVERYONE
LOVE IS IN EVERYONE
Love is in all. The difference is in its width.
It's like a flame that illuminates the sense of being: small at first, but expanding further and further.
It starts with leading to love only oneself as you ′′ feel ′′ only yourself.
Then it spreads to people who can satisfy our needs as sparks that go back into the flame of their own selfishness, to still spread to understand them and then start giving to them unconditionally: ′′ they are us ", and ′′ we are them ".
Matter is always divided, but the spirit feels this truth of identification that the senses translate into a feeling we call empathy.
Then this feeling-love still expands to all that is manifestation of life.
This last aspect, reminds me of the words of St. Francis, with his ′′ creature s' song ", wonderful poem of universal love.
I mean that, in my opinion, no one exists without love. For small or weak, it's in everyone, and it's the same internal nature of the Absolute. - Umberto Ridi

We've all heard we shouldn't judge, meaning we shouldn't condemn people because we never know thw whole story. But it's important not to judge the "positive" way, either. Such as making excuses or inventing stories that only allow for th egood in people to exist in our minds. Why? Because doing that blinds you to people who may be giving off red flags fo harmful behavior. That will only shock and hurt you later. It's best to suspend judgement. Ask. Observe. Ask again. It's one thing to find your 'center' while detaching from the world. It's a whole other thing to find it at the heart of the world. For years, I left the world to find my 'self'. This was an essential step, because I was not yet self-connected enough to find my center in the heart of society. I was too light, too soft, too traumatized. But then I came to realize that if I couldn't hold to my center in the world, then I didn't have much of a center. If all it took was a few days in the marketplace, on urban streets, dealing with humanity, before I had to run back to the woods, to find myself... then what had I found?
A very fragile, hollow center. So the work continued this time in the world itself. No easy feat, because of my trauma history, but the truest work I have ever done. Because now, I can sit in the middle of hell, and feel my core. Because now I can stand amid the fires of distraction, and sustain my focus. Its one thing to find your center while hiding from the world. It's quite another to find it in the heart of the everything. Because the wholly grail is YOU, unstoppably solid in the heart of the madness. - Jeff Brown, Hearticulations

It’s good to be with someone who has been through hell— life is hard, and strange, and a lot of shit happens. And when someone’s been through the worst of it already, pain doesn’t come as much of a surprise, they just sit down tie their shoelaces wave to old demons, and get on with it. - Atticus

Forgiving them means that their actions don't control you anymore.
It means that you see them as humans who've treated you from their own level of maturity, and awarenss.
Tour ability to see that helps you take way from their power over you. - Najwa Zebian
You may never get that apology. And the healing begins when you can accept that. - Vex King

Empathy
When you plant lettuce, if it does not grow well, don't blame the lettuce. You look for reasons it is not doing well. It may need fertilier, or more water, or less sun. You never blame the lettuce. Yet, if we have problems with our friends, or family, we blame the other person. But if we know how to take care of them, they will grow well, like the lettuce. Blaming has no positive effect at all, nor does trying to persuade using reason and argument. That is my experience. No blame, no rasoning, no argument, just understanding. If you understand, and you show that your understand, you can love, and the situation will change. - Thich Nhat Hanh
Empathy has no script. There is no right way or wrong way to do it. It's simply listening, holding space, withholding judgement, emotionally connecting, and communicating that incredibly healing message of ' You are not alone. " - Brene Brown

“Learning and excelling isn’t just about the ability to take in the content at school. It’s about feeling supported by people who believe in you. It’s about feeling a sense of safety and a sense of belonging at school.” - Dr. Charissa Wong

Kindness, compassion, empathy- now that is true beauty!
" I am not impressed by beauty anymore. It is not difficult or extraordinary to turn someone on. However, if you have the ability to inspire me, if you have the ability to stimulate my mind and stir my thoughts — well, that makes you magic." -Bianca Sparacino
The world is violent and mercurial, it will have its way with you. We are saved only by love - love for each other and the love that we pour into the art we feel compelled to share: being a parent; being a writer, being a painter; being a friend. We live in a perpetually burning building, and what we must save from it, all the time, is love. - Tennessee Williams
We rise and we shine!
You have fallen and you have risen time and time again; you are the living, breathing fragments of your triumphs and your gtragedies, stitched together through hurt and hope, and you still shine. You still shine. - Bianca Sparacino
When I get lonely these days, I think : So be loney, Liz. Learn your way around loneliness. Make a map of it. Sit with it, for once in your life. Welcome to the human experience. But never again use another person's body or emotions as a scratching post for your own unfulfilled yearnings. - Elizabeth Gilber, Eat Pray Love

“The difference between the neurotic and the creative is that the neurotic is precisely the one who cannot create. And so he chokes on his introversions” - Ernest Becker
Jung said you can cure a psychotic patient if you can make him creative. In other words, if what is destroying him from within can be brought forth in writing or painting or some other form, then he can be cured. What we try to do is to help people bring forth the self. - Von Franz
The most regretful people on earth are those who felt the call to creative work, who felt their own creative power restive and uprisisng, and gave to it neither power nor time. - Mary Oliver

Divine Timing
Start trusting in divine timing. Just because you don't have it all figured out dones't mean you're behind. Your timing is your timing. What's unfolding for you is very sacred. You're being prepared for it. Every little thing is adding up even when it doesn't always make sense. Trust the timing of your life. - Idil Ahmed

A journey is a person in itself; no two are alike. And all plans, safeguards, policing, and coercion are fruitless. We find that after years of struggle that we do not take a trip; a trip takes us. - John Steinbeck

Inquiry is the bridge...
When valued personal relationships go silent, trouble often follows. I'm not talking about productive "time-outs" that are clearly expressed - I am talking about silence that is reactive, or an attempt to do harm. This kind of silence ensures that the connection will not find its way back to health. Because silenece fosters confusion, projections, and worst of all, assumptions about what the other is feeling or thinking. And assumption doesn't get us anywhere good. Inquiry does. Assumptions ensure that the wall will only get thicker, until there is no way to reconnect. Whatever you do, even if you are justifiably angry, try to keep the door to inquiry open. You may not be ready to process the experience, but allow for the possibility that you one day will. Because valued connections are hard to find in this crazy world. Anger doesn't have to be the end of the story. Sometimes it's the portal to a closer connection. Sometimes, it's the way through to great learning. Inquiry is the bridge. - Jeff Brown, Hearticulations.

Nothing to hide , nowhere to hide it …..
What the world needs now is a true conversation. Not a conversation between our adaptations, disguises and defenses. Not a conversation that hides our truth under a bushel of shame. Not a conversation abotu what doesn't mater. But a conversation that is revealed, revealing, deeplyu genuine. Perhaps that is the key to most everything.. true sharing from the deep within. Nothing to hide, nowhere to hide it.. - Jeff Brown, Soulshaping

The whole world changes when one gets out..
It certainly feels good to imagine that the entire dysfunctional family will heal and mend. I held out ffor that vision of possibility for many years, largely because of the toxic, codependent nature of my trauma. If we suffered together, then we would rise together. But it seldom happes this way, both because of the complex nature of ancestral trauma, and because it takes so much energy and imagination to craft a healthier way of being. Most people who have been trapped beneath the rubble of family maddiess, don't have the energy, or the faith to get out from under it. It ahs become who they are. But you have to keep going. Traversing your path. You have to give yourself permission to shed the paradigm, even if it's lonely, even if you feel the temptation to go back and wait on the others. Family dynamics can be like quick sand, they may end up dragging you down with them. Stay firmly planted on your path. We need you. Because the whole world changes when one gets out. Because you are our best hope for a healthier tomorrow. I know it's difficult to get out alone, but you are never truly alone. You are raisiing the bar for all of us. - Jeff Brown, Hearticulations
