WHY DO RICH PEOPLE LOVE QUIET?
I am beginning to learn that the second half of life is about learning to let go of everything I feverishly collected over the first half that wasn't loving or human. - Michael Xavier

The degree to which a person can grow is directly proportional to the amount of truth they can accept about themselves without running away. - unknown

The work we do on ourselves becomes our gift to everyone else. - unknown

we must continually outgrow who we have been, in order to continually develop into who we were created to become. - Shane Steele

Your time is your life. That is why the greatest gift you can give someone is your time. - Rich Warren

The truth is, sometimes people just don't have the same intensity as you. - Ron Lim

Sometimes deciding who you are is deciding who you';; never be again. - Shane Steele

The greatest gift you can give someone is your time, your attention, your love, your concern. - unknown

What we allow ourselves to feel, in return, will empower us to heal. - J. Mike Fields

Wait for someone kind.
Wait for someone respectful, not only in the beginning stages of the relationship when things are bright and beautiful, but also when things get hard. Wait for someone who respects your boundaries and does not force you to do things that you’re not willing or ready to do.
Wait for someone who is giving and does not keep count of the good things they do for you.
Wait for someone who challenges you mentally. Someone who inspires you to be a better person.
Wait for someone who takes their time to learn and understand you.
Wait for someone who is consistent with their efforts in showing you how much they care about you.
Wait for someone who wants to be part of your world, and wants you to be part of theirs.
Wait for someone who lets you know you’re on their mind, someone who checks in on you, someone who wants you to know that they care for you.
Wait for someone who is willing to commit to you, someone who is willing to choose you.
Wait for someone who makes love feel easy, calm. Like coming home.
Wait for someone sincere. Someone who doesn’t confuse you because their actions match their words. Wait for someone honest.
Wait for someone who does their absolute best to not hurt you, someone who strives to protect your heart.
Wait for someone who will choose you over and over and over again. Love is a choice you make every single day. You deserve to find the kind of person who shows up for what you share, someone who believes in it.
Wait for someone who’s not perfect, but rather, real. Perfect is an illusion. Real is where you find something rare and special.
Wait for someone who reminds you that love was always meant to be soft. - unknown
Gray Hair Is a New Power Move for Women at Work
Do not love half lovers
Do not entertain half friends
Do not live half a life
and do not die a half death
If you choose silence, then be silent
When you speak, do so until you are finished
Do not silence yourself to say something
And do not speak to be silent
If you accept, then express it bluntly
Do not mask it
If you refuse then be clear about it
for an ambiguous refusal is but a weak acceptance
Do not accept half a solution
Do not believe half truths
Do not dream half a dream
Do not fantasize about half hopes
Half the way will get you no where
Half an idea will bear you no results
Half a life is a life you didn't live,
A word you have not said
A smile you postponed
A love you have not had
A friendship you did not know
The half is a mere moment of inability
but you are able for you are not half a being
You are a whole that exists to live a life
not half a life. - Khalil Gibran

Pain can't be transcended. Too much of that and it just gets concretized. Big blocks of pain obstructing the path, turning into weapons that turn inward against the self. Don't believe the ones who say you can rise above it, or meditate it away. It doesn't go away, those ways. It goes away when we move deeply into it, and move it on through. I try to never forget how good it felt to cry as a child. At the end of the release, new eyes and a regained freshness of appreciation. And I also try to never forget what it has feels like to repress tears as an adult. I feel agitated, disconnected and ultimately depressed. I think of depression as frozen feeling. When I thaw them out by feeling and releasing them, the depression lifts. It's not the pain that will kill us. It's all the efforts we make to pretend that it’s gone. The feel is for real... - Jeff Brown

Don’t “Get over it!” Get inside of it. Get to the heart of it. Get through it. Your painful story is not some hurdle to jump over. It’s not a pole to vault. It’s a lived experience that longs for your attention. It’s a trauma that awaits your compassion. It’s an embodied truth that demands to be expressed. So next time someone tells you to “get over it”, just say NO. And then tell them to “get over” their need to trivialize other people’s challenges. Ask them to look deeply at how this repressive mantra has prevented them from healing their own wounds. They are unlikely to know, but the seed you plant may well yield fruits when the moment is ripe. - Jeff Brown
