Come join Peer Health Advocate and other student organizations as we do
our part for the environment during OSU's annual One Less Car this May
16th. Show off how your alternative transportation by running, biking,
hopping (or really whatever "green" method you chose) through the scenic
5k route laid out across campus. This event is designed to help raise
awareness of the difference an individual can make by choosing
environmentally friendly means of transport over the typical use of an
automobile for short trips.
Registration for the event will run all the way up until race day,
however if you would like to order a One Less Car t-shirt we ask that
you have your order in by Wednesday, May 13th. To register simply walk,
run or bike down to the Dixon Rec Center info desks or the Peer Health
Advocates office in Plagemen 337 and fill out a waiver. You can charge
both the $5 registration fee and the t-shirt order ($7) to your student
account. Registration for One Less Car includes healthy snacks, drinks
and opportunities to win prizes. Attached to this email are the t-shirt
design and poster for this event. So with all that said I hope to see
everyone May 16th in the 5k that let's you show off how you move!
