Thunder Flea, Portland's unique ukulele-fuel rock, jazz, reggae, ska, soul, Latin, funk, theme song, opera, and classical cover band, is hosting a ukulele extravaganza this Saturday at the Roots Organic Brewery in Portland, near the Hawthorne Bridge. Three ukulele bands for the price of none!: Hawaiian Charm (featuring PUA members Francis and Russ), The Ghost of Edward Purvis (featuring PUA members David, Nancy, Scott and Russ), and Thundeflea, a loose conglomeration of musician who play a wide variety of music not usually associated with such otherwise demure little instruments. Thus the thunder!
