There’s a reason you might be feeling downcast and rejected— if you’re holding out for sustenance from someone, something, or from somewhere that can’t be released.
You don’t have to wait for all the planets to align, or for that person to come to their senses, or for that group to finally get you, or for your parents to really accept you so you can be nourished by human care.
Stop chasing the people who don’t feel or share an emotional resonance. Or the parental figure who rarely notices you. Or the one you’re giving your energetic attention to, but who’s unwilling to give back to you and has an abundance of interest in other people and enthusiasm for different things. They’re not bad folks; it may indicate there’s no alignment or something valid is pulling them away.
More importantly, you can invest in ideas that excite you. You can show up for connections that feel mutual. You will find victory in other circles, celebrate your milestones, and cultivate consistency as you gather with real friends.
In a world that’s always shifting and receding, there lives a multitude of people working out their stuff and can’t always find you where you are. Or they are dealing with their stuff, so they can’t meet you in ways you need.
But you don’t have to tarry while there's an entire world waiting for you. You can give your true self the nourishment it requires and feel loved by kindred ones. - Susan Frybort

You don't have to wait to be accepted by a special tribe to be loved. You don't have to invest your heart in only one outcome to win. You don't have to prove you're worthy to be chosen. When you're ready, you can step into the majesty of everything that's been waiting for you, each tume you show up for yourself in this ever-changing world. - Susan Frybort
