Sometimes you get what you want. Other times, you get a lesson in patience, timing, alignment, empathy, compassion, faith, perseverance, resilience, humility, trust, meaning, awareness, resistance, purpose, clarity, griefm, beauty, and life. Either way, you win. - Brianna Wiest
What you focus on grows. We always have choices. Focus on what brings you misery (you may actually feel your body contract), or focus on what makes you feel lighter and more expansive.
Think of what comes naturally to you, what you love to do, what puts you in a state of flow. Remember situations when you felt at your best. These feelings are still in your cellular memory - you can call them up to help you change your state.
Know that the ego mind will want to remind you of all you are not - not good enough, ready enough, talented enough… you know the drill. It takes vigilance to catch those patterns in play. But you can.
And then change your focus to what supports your growth. “I always find my way, I can figure it out, I can do hard things, etc.”
This is a practice, and the more you intentionally switch gears, the more your brain builds new neural pathways to support you. You are much more expansive than your ego would have you believe. Focus on what calls you and take one step to reach it. Action builds self-trust. You got this. Focus on all that you are. - Project Happiness
Choose to focus on all that you are, instead of all that you are not. - Unknown
