into a better self
learning how to eliminate the past
while climbing out of its Hell
who you were
does not matter now
staying stuck in slow motion
can turn your heart so sour
feel yourself grow
feel yourself prosper
teach yourself how to control
each and every disaster
stay away from the negative minds
those who refuse to dream
refuse to embrace their screams
those who refuse
to just beautifully be
you can love yourself
while hurting
you can love yourself
while burning
open wounds
heal as they bleed
you have to keep
an open mind
through everything
blaming everyone else
for your own mistakes
will only lead to more of them
learn your way
learn your path
learn your own passions
learn what makes your soul laugh
what makes it cry
learn the signs
that you must avoid
to keep your mind right
if you’re not comfortable in a crowd
don’t join one
if the noises are too loud
silence the sounds
you can choose
which doors are yours
the ones that aren’t
just leave them on the shores
in madness
we all have our own special place
in insanity
we all have our own
steps we must take
if the steps aren’t real
don’t take them
if it isn’t your place
don’t embrace them
find the keys
to your own masterpiece
paint them vividly
paint them in peace
your peace of mind is special
never let anything waste you
one shot at life
one shot at dreams
one way to yourself
sing it in your own
euphoric haunting screams
what they say is irrelevant
what you need
is in your eyes
you’re holding the wheel
never let anyone else drive.
Your heart must be so heavy
carrying around all those
