“The corrupt criminal enterprise of the U.S. Government is on full display. Until the American people recognize that neither party is prioritizing their interests, we will continue down this path without representation. Over the course of decades, both parties have pursued policies of domination and oppression while unelected corporate interests and foreign influence are given a seat at the head of the table, crafting legislation to benefit a handful of shareholders at the expense of the American people. We didn’t arrive at this juncture overnight. Regardless of their stated principles, both parties have ridden on the coattails of the other, pursuing the interests of their wealthiest donors and lobbyists. Democrats once portrayed themselves to be the party of anti-war, the "working-class" and civil liberties. While Republicans portrayed themselves to stand for and protect the constitution, a limited government, fiscal conservatism, and free markets. But, the narratives of both parties contradict the outcomes. This should give pause to any honest observer. Regardless of the reasons or justifications made, the results do not reflect the stated positions which their constituents have been led to believe. For example: U.S. Military adventurism and conflict have continued throughout my entire adult life, constitutional rights are pushed aside to achieve desired goals, the unsustainable national debt continues to grow unabated, and unchecked corporate power is being further concentrated, working hand in glove with this government, to the detriment of the American people. Ultimately, the path forward depends wholly on the voters and their willingness to reject this corrupt criminal enterprise. If voters are satisfied with the status quo, then any candidate from either party should suffice. But to begin to take the steps necessary to retake our place at the table, we must come together, vote our conscience, and reject the two-party illusion confronting us.” - John Saulie-Rohman
