When people were killed by cars, we didn’t say it was a bad driving problem, we agreed as a society that it was a car problem. When babies were born mutated because of dangerous medicine, we didn’t call it a fertility problem, we called it a certain prescription drug problem. When AIDS began to take lives, we didn’t call it a lust problem, we called it an unprotected sex problem. Yet as guns kill innocent people, including kids in school, our society says the problem is bad people, not guns. I am saddened and ashamed of my fellow man. - Jeff. M

恭喜發財, Gong Hei Fat Choi!

You deserve someone who loves you with every single beat of his heart. Someone who can help you reach your dreams and who can protect you from your fears You need someone who will treat you with respect, love every part of you, especially your flaws. You should be with someone who can make you happy, really happy, dancing on air happy. Someone who should have taken the chance to be with you years ago instead of becoming scared and being too afraid to try. - Cecelia Ahern

I hope you will choose to love yourself more than you ever have done. I hope you will choose to honor the genius of your body and take care of it like you would do a most beautiful flower in your garden. Be your own valentine today, despite whether you have someone to spend it with. Your hearts needs your love before it needs anyone's else. Your own pure and timeless love is what your deserve. And every other beautiful thing too. And once you do love yourself you will only attract the finest love into your life. But you won't feel dependent and needy for it, because you'll finally realize you need no one to complete you. You're perfect as you are. - S.C. Lourie

It is safe and comfortable for me to love and be loved.

It's not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can't tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it, myself. - Joyce Maynard

Oh, to see without my eyes
The first time that you kissed me
Boundless by the time I cried
I built your walls around me
White noise, what an awful sound
Fumbling by Rogue River
Feel my feet above the ground
Hand of God, deliver me
Oh, oh woe-oh-woah is me
The first time that you touched me
Oh, will wonders ever cease?
Blessed be the mystery of love
Lord, I no longer believe
Drowned in living waters
Cursed by the love that I received
From my brother's daughter
Like Hephaestion, who died
Alexander's lover
Now my riverbed has dried
Shall I find no other?
Oh, oh woe-oh-woah is me
I'm running like a plover
Now I'm prone to misery
The birthmark on your shoulder reminds me
How much sorrow can I take?
Blackbird on my shoulder
And what difference does it make
When this love is over?
Shall I sleep within your bed
River of unhappiness
Hold your hands upon my head
Till I breathe my last breath
Oh, oh woe-oh-woah is me
The last time that you touched me
Oh, will wonders ever cease?
Blessed be the mystery of love

Major Psychiatric Disorders Have More In Common Than We Thought, Study Finds
What I Did When I Thought I Had Two Hours to Live 'There will come a time in our lives when we will truly have only two hours to live. How lovely will it be to have lived a life in which we have told everyone how loved they are, asked for forgiveness for all that we have to atone, and forgiven all those around us who yearn for forgiveness. How lovely to greet that moment with no regrets, but with a sense of purpose, meaning, love, tenderness, and forgiveness.'
Why "Everything in Moderation" Doesn't Work

I learned so much about relationship from this. I truly recommend it. I learn that MVP never wanted to make a commitment to me, so it is a good riddance. I made my oath long ago when I chose you. I have Gabe to live for. I have my own life to live for. I have my own happiness and I am happy to know that I can find someone to love me, to value me, to cherish me.

愛的可能- a lovely song about love and motherhood

I didn't know how big a problem sexual harassment was in China - until #metoo The title of this article is a a big problem of its own. The history and culture has systematically brainwashed the population to such that you don't even know women are the victims and being victimized daily, for centuries, women were properties, they can be sold as currencies, and men can marry with concubines, and because of the Confucius belief, there were no resistance, we were taught to listen and obey to the head of the household, MEN, the oppressors.

27 “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. 30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you. The Light in the Darkness Around Us
A Ritual to Read to Each Other By William Stafford
If you don’t know the kind of person I am
and I don’t know the kind of person you are
a pattern that others made may prevail in the world
and following the wrong god home we may miss our star.
For there is many a small betrayal in the mind,
a shrug that lets the fragile sequence break
sending with shouts the horrible errors of childhood
storming out to play through the broken dike.
And as elephants parade holding each elephant’s tail,
but if one wanders the circus won’t find the park,
I call it cruel and maybe the root of all cruelty
to know what occurs but not recognize the fact.
And so I appeal to a voice, to something shadowy,
a remote important region in all who talk:
though we could fool each other, we should consider—
lest the parade of our mutual life get lost in the dark.
For it is important that awake people be awake,
or a breaking line may discourage them back to sleep;
the signals we give — yes or no, or maybe —
should be clear: the darkness around us is deep.
