Once we accept our circumstances, we open up the possibilities to respond creatively beyond our limited perception based on our temporary preferences.
It enables us to see the next right action.
When we are stuck in a state of denial, rejection, or blame, we are very limited in our ability to see our way forward. Unless things meet our expectations, we can only move in the directions that our wounded ego leads us. Bowing to what is happening and saying "yes, this is happening, what is needed now?" opens us to be able to listen and to receive inspiration for possible solutions and to see what steps we can take that may not have occurred to us when we are still saying "no" to our circumstances.
This does not mean that we do not stand up for what is just and seek pathways for healing and to fight against that which would bring us harm, instead, it means to move into openness before deciding what those actions might be.
May each of us find the best way to move forward with our hearts and eyes open to where we can make things better for ourselves and others and may we never lose our hope. - Sufi.net
